played tadisional games and exchange experiences from respective countries

Betong Students Exchange Day 1

On 19th November 2009,our club invited to join Betong Students Exchange organized by the Rotary club of Ipoh. This was strongly recommended by Rotary club of Ipoh. Also along to help out was Interact Club of Anderson, Interact Club of RPS and Interact Club of Main Convent. It's not sarcasm as Interact Club of Pgs came with a total of 8 interactors immersed to form a huge team and gave a good cooperate during their duties.

9 students from Betong including a teacher advisor was take part this projects.

Day one (19th November 2009 – Thursday)
Theme : Chinese
Estimated noon Arrival of Betong Students Rotarians
12.00 pm Lunch
12.30pm-2pm Rotary Meeting
3.30pm-5.30pm Arrival of Betong Students in Anderson school.
-Welcoming team
-Ice breaking games
-Introduction of Chinese and Malay culture
· Games
· Traditional costumes

· Traditional dance
5.30pm-6.15pm Sharing and exchanging experiences from respective countries
( Discussion about differences between interacts clubs from Ipoh and Betong.)
6.30pm-7.30pm Dinner ( Chinese food )
7.30pm-9.30pm Sight seeing – pasar malam


Day two ( 20th of November 2009 )
Theme : Indian
7.00am Breakfast
7.30am Arrival at SMK Anderson
7.35am-12.30pm Educational trip in each respective schools
-Experience the education environment in Ipoh and see how Malaysian
schools carry out daily classes
12.30pm-1.30pm Lunch -Everyone gather at Salem Greentown Restaurant.
(experience Malaysian Muslim food )
2.00pm-3.30pm Gather at SMK Main Convent/ Anderson school ( last resort )
Indoor games Introduction of Indian culture

4.00pm-6.00pm Sight seeing at religious places

Day Three ( 21st November 2009 )
Theme : Malay
8.00am-9.30pm Sight seeing – Pasar Tani (Stadium Ipoh )
( Breakfast will be included as well )
10.00am-12.30pm Chinese temple ( Sam Poh Tong )
12.30pm-1.30pm Lunch
2pm-6pm Sight seeing.
-Visit to the Chinese temple
-Visit to the mosque
-Tour around heritage sites in Ipoh
6.30pm-7.30pm Dinner at Jusco food court
8.00pm-9.30pm Kinta city -Shopping


Day Four ( 22nd November 2009 )
Theme : Formal
7.30am-8.00am Breakfast (old town clock tower )
8.00am-9.00am Closing ceremony

9.30am Aud Lang Syne ( guitar by interactors )
